Campaign secondary

A reusable promotion that appears at the end of page content - a feature in the Ripple design system.

Usage

Secondary campaign components are reusable components intended to support a campaign or promotion.

Secondary campaigns display after the content area, just above the page footer. They span the full width of the content area.

The secondary campaign includes:

  • a title
  • description text
  • a call-to-action button
  • media that displays alongside the text (an image or a video)

Examples

A visual representation of the secondary campaign.

How to build

Primary campaigns are created separately to pages. They are built in the block layout section and then linked from individual pages.

They are created and managed by Site administrators. They can be embedded in any content page by Content editors.

Inserting a campaign block

Open the page where you want to insert the campaign. (This page must have been created using the Landing page template.)

Click on the secondary campaign tab.

In the text field, start typing in the name of your campaign and select it from the list that drops down.

Example of Primary or Secondary campaign

Creating a campaign block

Campaigns are built in the block layout section and then inserted into individual pages.

  1. Click Structure > Block layout > Add custom block and choose Campaign or Campaign with video.
  2. Add:
    • Block description* - does not display on the website; use a clear name that indicates of the link destination and date span of intended use so they are easy to locate when we have a lot of campaigns in the CMS
    • Title*
    • Body (optional)
    • Featured image - image should be 708px wide x 412px high
      OR
    • Featured video - this will open the Media library where you can select a previously uploaded video or Add embedded video
    • CTA link - maximum 70 characters; this will display as a button in the campaign feature.
To add a customer block, you can select from either custom block with image or custom block with video
