A consistent header to help your users navigate and orient themselves in your site - a feature in the Ripple design system.

The header is the central method for your users to locate themselves and navigate your site.

As well as your site's logo, it provides navigation that expands to 3 levels deep, and a prompt to conduct a site-wide search.

It appears consistently across all pages.

For sites, the appearance of the header will be uniform across all instances.

For semi-independent sites, the colour and logo can be customised.

How to build

The header navigation automatically displays on all pages throughout your site, and is a mandatory element.

Pages are added to the header menu by site administrators.
